Meet Steve Parlante, a Licensed Social Worker with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, 12-Step Philosophy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Treatment.
Steve specializes in addiction, anxiety, and family counseling. Prior to his role as Clinical Program Coordinator, Steve has worked as a Therapist for adults with co-occurring disorders, a Vocational Coordinator for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as within the school district working with teenagers with social learning and behavioral challenges.
Steve obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Social Work from Rutgers University. He believes with a little guidance that every client has the ability to discover a new way of living life & positive encouragement.
In his free time, Steve is a coach for the Special Olympics of New Jersey and enjoys hiking, disc golf, and going to concerts of musicians that inspire him daily.
