Meet Melanie Arcidiacono, a Marriage and Family Therapist who works with couples, families, and individuals to strengthen relationships with themselves and others. She earned her associate degree in Liberal Arts (Arts & Sciences), her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, and her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University in 2023.Licensed in New Jersey since 2024,Melanie approaches therapy through a systemic lens, recognizing that each client is shaped by their relationships, environment, and lived experiences—rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
Melanie is trained in the Gottman Method (Levels 1 and 2) and has experience supporting mixed-agenda couples, conducting effective consultations, building relational skills, and addressing birth trauma. Her clinical work focuses on restructuring family dynamics, strengthening emotional regulation and coping skills, and helping clients process real-world events with improved insight and critical thinking. She is known for building strong therapeutic rapport and maintaining long-term engagement with her clients.
Committed to authenticity and connection, Melanie strives to make therapy feel accessible, collaborative, and grounded in real life—without relying on excessive clinical jargon. She believes meaningful change happens through honest self-reflection, consistent effort, and a supportive therapeutic partnership.
Driven by personal experience with dysfunctional family systems, Melanie is passionate about helping others break generational patterns and recognize their inherent worth. She views therapy as a space for empowerment, healing, and growth, and believes her calling is to help clients ransform their lives and relationships.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys gardening, gaming, raveling, singing, movies, music, fashion and beauty, and sports (Go Birds!). She values time with family and friends and describes herself as adventurous, adaptable, and energized by meaningful connections and joyful experiences.
