Meet Alexis Goeller, Primary Therapist, whose passion for mental health, creativity, and helping others shines through in everything she does.
Alexis earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Immaculata University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a concentration in Piano and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With a background rooted in both music and mental health, Alexis brings a unique blend of creativity, empathy, and genuine connection to her work with clients.
Alexis discovered the world of behavioral health treatment about a year and a half ago and quickly realized that this was where she was meant to be. She fell in love with the opportunity to work alongside individuals, learn their stories, and connect with each client as a whole person—not simply a diagnosis or a chapter of their life.
One of Alexis’s favorite parts of her work is celebrating clients along their journey. Whether it is a major achievement, an important milestone, or simply a small victory that may otherwise go unnoticed, she believes every win deserves to be recognized. She is especially excited to continue building connections with clients and looks forward to getting back to running groups.
Alexis is deeply dedicated to her work and to the clients she serves. She believes in being real, being helpful, and leading by example. Her own experiences with mental health in her early 20s ultimately helped guide her toward this field. As she entered the treatment world, Alexis recognized how much positive impact could be made for individuals navigating experiences similar to her own. Today, she is passionate about being part of the solution and providing the guidance, support, and understanding that she wished had been more available to her during her own mental health journey.
Outside of work, Alexis is a creative at heart and enjoys all things art, reading, video games, field hockey, and music. She is also a proud Philadelphia Phillies fan and loves going on adventures with her boyfriend.
Music continues to be an important part of her life—Alexis has been playing piano for approximately 22 years and also enjoys teaching piano lessons.
But of all her titles, Alexis says her favorite and most important is Aunt Lexi. She is the proud aunt of one niece and five very energetic nephews, all six and under, who keep her life full of love, laughter, and plenty of adventure.
Alexis brings authenticity, compassion, creativity, and heart to her role, and she is excited to continue growing alongside the clients, families, and team she serves.
