Meet Tim, a graduate from Rutgers School with a Bachelor’s Degree, and Master’s in Social Work from Stockton University. Tim is a Licensed Social Worker, and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor thriving at Epiphany Wellness as one of our Primary Therapist.
Tim is actively enrolled to become a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapist with experience working for a wide range of mental health issues. Including but not limited to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, sexual abuse, and addiction.
Tim maintains a commitment to antiracism with LGBTQIA+ allied practices. He entered a career in the field of addiction counseling in 2012 after declaring his major in social work. Since then, Tim has gained invaluable experience working with individuals that struggle with addiction as well as mental health concerns within every level of care for multiple programs in the state of New Jersey.
Tim strongly believes in the importance of building rapport with individuals to assist in creating a safe space that is conducive to trust, encouragement, and positive results. He enjoy playing and listening to music, watching movies, reading, exercise, as well as surfing.
Tim chose this field because he believes everyone has the ability to change and grow when they learn positive skills, and have healthy support around them. As a Clinician, Tim thoroughly enjoys being around people that inspire him to evolve as a Therapist in such a positive way.
